Publication Ethics

ResearchGet Journal of Islamic Religious Studies is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. This publication ethics statement applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

The journal upholds principles of honesty, transparency, originality, fairness, confidentiality, and responsibility in scholarly publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works, free from plagiarism, and must not be under consideration or published elsewhere.

Duties of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, accurate, and based on honest research or scholarly analysis.
  • Authors must not submit manuscripts that contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or improper manipulation of data and sources.
  • Authors must properly cite and acknowledge all sources, references, ideas, data, and works used in the manuscript.
  • Authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not being considered by another journal at the same time.
  • All individuals who have made significant academic contributions to the research and writing process must be listed as authors.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the results, interpretation, or presentation of the research.
  • Authors are responsible for correcting significant errors or inaccuracies discovered after submission or publication.

Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the academic quality, originality, relevance, and contribution of the manuscript.
  • Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly without discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, or political viewpoint.
  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not disclose manuscript information to unauthorized parties.
  • Editors must ensure that the peer review process is objective, transparent, and conducted by qualified reviewers.
  • Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and must not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for personal advantage.
  • Editors have the responsibility to take appropriate action when ethical concerns, misconduct, or publication irregularities are identified.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and scholarly evaluations of manuscripts assigned to them.
  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and must not share or discuss them with others without permission from the editor.
  • Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts based on academic merit, methodological soundness, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors when necessary.
  • Reviewers must inform the editor if they detect plagiarism, duplicate publication, data irregularities, or other ethical issues.
  • Reviewers must decline the review assignment if they have conflicts of interest or are unable to complete the review within the required time.

Duties of the Publisher

  • The publisher is responsible for supporting the editorial team in maintaining the integrity and quality of the journal.
  • The publisher must ensure that editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by commercial, institutional, or personal interests.
  • The publisher supports the journal in addressing ethical complaints, publication misconduct, corrections, retractions, and other integrity-related matters.
  • The publisher is committed to preserving published content and ensuring accessibility to scholarly works according to the journal’s policies.

Plagiarism and Originality

All manuscripts submitted to ResearchGet Journal of Islamic Religious Studies must be original and must not contain plagiarism. The journal may use plagiarism detection tools to check the similarity level of submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, excessive similarity, or improper citation may be rejected or returned to the authors for correction.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts submitted to the journal will be reviewed through a peer review process. The review process is intended to ensure the quality, validity, originality, and relevance of the manuscript. Reviewers are expected to provide fair and constructive feedback to help improve the quality of scholarly publications.

Conflict of Interest

Research Ethics

Corrections and Retractions

The journal is committed to correcting the scholarly record when necessary. If errors, inaccuracies, or ethical violations are found after publication, the journal may issue corrections, clarifications, expressions of concern, or retractions according to the seriousness of the case.

Publication Misconduct

Publication misconduct includes plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, peer review manipulation, and other unethical publishing practices. Any suspected misconduct will be investigated by the editorial team. Appropriate actions may include manuscript rejection, article retraction, notification to relevant institutions, or prohibition from future submissions.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscript does not violate copyright laws. Any copyrighted material used in the manuscript must be properly cited and, when necessary, must have permission from the copyright holder. The journal may apply its own copyright and licensing policy to published articles.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, and contribution to Islamic religious studies. The editorial team has full authority over publication decisions and must remain independent from external pressure or influence.
