This study aims to examine the effect of technology readiness on business model innovation in sustainable enterprises. The main problem addressed in this study is the limited understanding of how internal technological readiness enables firms to redesign their business models in response to digital transformation and sustainability demands. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory-correlational design. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 150 owners, managers, and decision-makers of sustainable enterprises. The instrument measured technology readiness through digital infrastructure, employee competence, managerial support, data security, and technology integration, while business model innovation was measured through value proposition, value creation, value delivery, and value capture renewal. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that technology readiness has a positive and significant effect on business model innovation, with a path coefficient of 0.681, t-statistic of 10.427, and p-value of 0.000. The R-square value of 0.464 indicates that technology readiness explains 46.4% of the variance in business model innovation. These findings support the hypothesis and confirm that technology readiness is a strategic capability that helps sustainable enterprises redesign their business models. The study contributes to the dynamic capability view and provides practical implications for managers and policy makers in strengthening digital readiness to support sustainable business innovation.
