Publication Ethics

The ResearchGet Journal of Economics and Business (RGJEB) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity in all stages of the editorial and publication process. This publication ethics statement is established to ensure transparency, fairness, accountability, originality, and scholarly credibility in the publication of scientific works. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, are expected to uphold ethical principles and comply with internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, accurate, and free from plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, redundant publication, and any form of academic misconduct. Authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal or publication outlet. All sources, data, theories, methods, and works of other researchers used in the manuscript must be properly cited and acknowledged according to the journal’s referencing style.

Authors must present their research findings honestly and transparently. Any errors, limitations, conflicts of interest, research funding, or ethical considerations related to the study must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript. All individuals listed as authors must have made significant scholarly contributions to the research and manuscript preparation, while contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission.

Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for making editorial decisions based on the manuscript’s academic merit, relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, methodological quality, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field of economics and business. Editorial decisions must be made fairly and objectively without discrimination based on the author’s nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, ethnicity, political views, or other personal characteristics.

Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and ensure that all information related to manuscripts is disclosed only to authorized parties involved in the editorial and peer-review process. Editors are also responsible for managing conflicts of interest, selecting competent and independent reviewers, preventing unethical publication practices, and taking appropriate actions when ethical issues, complaints, or allegations of misconduct arise.

Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers play an essential role in maintaining the quality and integrity of scholarly publications. Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, constructively, confidentially, and in a timely manner. Reviews should focus on the academic quality, originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, clarity, relevance, and significance of the manuscript. Personal criticism of authors is not acceptable.

Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and decline the review assignment if they are unable to provide an objective evaluation. Reviewers must not use unpublished information, data, arguments, or interpretations obtained through the peer-review process for personal advantage or for the benefit of others. Reviewers should also notify the editor if they identify plagiarism, redundant publication, ethical concerns, or substantial similarity with other published works.

Ethical Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher is responsible for supporting the editorial team in maintaining publication ethics, editorial independence, academic quality, and transparency in journal management. The publisher must ensure that editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, institutional pressure, or other non-academic considerations. The publisher also supports the implementation of policies related to peer review, plagiarism prevention, correction, retraction, archiving, copyright, licensing, and long-term accessibility of published articles.

Plagiarism and Similarity Policy

RGJEB does not tolerate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate submission, salami publication, citation manipulation, or any form of academic misconduct. All manuscripts submitted to the journal may be checked using plagiarism detection tools before being sent to reviewers. Manuscripts found to contain unacceptable similarity or unethical practices may be rejected, returned for correction, or subject to further editorial investigation.

Conflict of Interest

All authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research, review process, or editorial decision. Conflicts of interest may include financial relationships, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, academic competition, funding support, or other circumstances that could affect objectivity. When conflicts of interest are identified, the editorial team will take appropriate measures to ensure fairness and transparency.

Correction, Retraction, and Withdrawal

RGJEB is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. Corrections may be issued when errors are found in published articles that do not invalidate the overall findings. Retractions may be applied when published articles are found to contain serious ethical violations, unreliable data, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of misconduct. Article withdrawal may be considered only under specific circumstances and must follow the journal’s editorial policy and ethical publishing standards.

Research Ethics

Authors conducting research involving human participants, institutions, organizations, communities, or sensitive data must ensure that the research complies with relevant ethical standards. Authors should obtain informed consent where required, protect participant confidentiality, and provide ethical approval information when applicable. Research data must be collected, analyzed, reported, and stored responsibly to maintain accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
