The ResearchGet Journal of Economics and Business (RGJEB) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all published manuscripts are original, ethical, and free from plagiarism. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate submission, redundant publication, inappropriate citation, and any form of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original works and that all sources, ideas, data, figures, tables, theories, and statements taken from other works are properly cited and acknowledged according to the journal’s referencing style.
All manuscripts submitted to RGJEB will undergo a similarity check using plagiarism detection software before proceeding to the peer-review stage. Manuscripts must have an acceptable similarity level, with a maximum overall similarity index of 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used methodological terms. Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold may be returned to the authors for revision, rejected before review, or subject to further editorial evaluation depending on the severity and nature of the similarity detected.
The editorial team will carefully examine similarity reports to distinguish between properly cited sources, technical terminology, standard phrases, and potential plagiarism. High similarity in the introduction, literature review, results, discussion, or conclusion sections may be considered a serious concern, especially when copied text is not properly quoted, paraphrased, or cited. Authors are expected to paraphrase appropriately, cite all relevant sources accurately, and avoid excessive dependence on a limited number of references.
If plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified during the editorial or peer-review process, the manuscript may be rejected immediately, and the authors may be asked to provide clarification. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, RGJEB reserves the right to issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and article retraction policy. The journal may also notify the author’s institution or affiliated organization when serious misconduct is confirmed.
By submitting a manuscript to RGJEB, authors declare that the work is original, has not been previously published, is not under consideration by another journal, and does not violate ethical publishing standards. Authors also agree to cooperate with the editorial team in resolving any ethical issues related to plagiarism, similarity, authorship, citation, or research integrity.
