The ResearchGet Journal of Economics and Business (RGJEB) applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, validity, and scholarly contribution of every manuscript submitted to the journal. In this process, the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity throughout the evaluation process.
All submitted manuscripts first undergo an initial editorial screening conducted by the editorial team. At this stage, the manuscript is evaluated based on its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, completeness of required documents, clarity of structure, originality, similarity level, ethical compliance, and basic methodological quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before the peer-review stage.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who have expertise relevant to the manuscript topic. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the originality of the research, strength of theoretical foundation, appropriateness of methodology, accuracy of data analysis, clarity of results and discussion, contribution to economics and business studies, quality of references, and relevance of conclusions and implications. Reviewers are required to provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely recommendations to support the editorial decision.
Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor may issue one of the following decisions: accepted without revision, accepted with minor revision, accepted with major revision, resubmission required, or rejected. Authors who receive revision decisions must revise the manuscript carefully according to the reviewers’ and editor’s comments and submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers explaining how each comment has been addressed.
Revised manuscripts are reviewed again by the editor and, when necessary, may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation. The editor is responsible for making the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, the author’s responses, and the manuscript’s overall contribution to the journal. The final decision is made independently by the editor and is not influenced by commercial interests, institutional pressure, or non-academic considerations.
The peer-review process is normally completed within a reasonable editorial timeframe, depending on the availability of reviewers, the complexity of the manuscript, and the quality of the revision submitted by the authors. RGJEB is committed to maintaining a transparent, accountable, and ethical peer-review system to ensure that all published articles meet high academic standards and contribute meaningfully to the development of economics and business scholarship.
